This was a gift for Daniel on this, his 5th birthday, We were so lucky to have been able to come down this weekend to spend the day with him. So, The Man and I sat at the table, each of us with a grandchild, explaining the strategies of the game. OK, so 3yr-old Emily just wanted to post the discs in at the top but young Daniel understood the implications of the moves.

It isn't a game of chance, it requires planning. It requires thinking about your own 3 or 4 moves ahead whilst watching what you opponent is up to.
