Up On The Roof

We started the day back at the flats. Whilst I cleaned gutters of mud and ivy ( forgot to take the 'before' photo, but the 'after' one is top centre ), Sav fixed some leadwork over exposed bricks.

Whilst up there to inspect what needed doing yesterday, I had cleaned a bird poop off the atrium, so the pigeon sitting above it was strongly advised against pooping on it today.

The afternoon was spent across the road from our house with neighbour's and friends of neighbour's who were holding a pudding party. The house was full of adults and children and desserts! The couple hosting it admitted they were a bit slack on communicating about who they'd invited, so didn't really know how many people and puddings would turn up!

They have two small girls, and their dad is a bit of a Star Wars geek. Whilst discussing the Star Wars themed Christmas tree and my name, it was revealed that little A has a Princess Leia costume. Of course I wanted to see this, so off she went to get changed ( from her Miss Clause outfit ). See the extra shot for that. I want one of those costumes now!

Many puddings ( both of us ) and mulled wines ( just me! ) later we left ( about 6pmish ) and I asked Sav what we were having for dinner! He barely asked if I was kidding, just got the wok out and made a quick stir fry!

He went for a sleep, I hit into the Christmas present wrapping and card writing. Pretty much got it all done by the time Sav got up again and went to work at 10pm.

We had been invited to another party and I thought to ask Sav to drop me off there, but in the end the call of the bed was too strong! Needed to lie down to digest all that pudding!
