A day of keeping busy sorting cupboards and boxes at home. Funny how tiring that can be.

Drove down to Swan Lake on the golfcart with Son K. I was looking for the new swan but he was nowhere to be seen. Instead this beautiful white swan came swimming across and got out of the water near us. He was busy grooming himself for a little while but soon got back into the water when we didn't produce any food.

As we drove onto the grass by the lake we noticed two little white-faced ducks. One of them made a hasty dash into the water and swam across to the bullrushes. As we watched we saw three little ducklings come out to greet her. The other duck soon joined her in the water and received the same greeting from the ducklings before they disappeared into the bullrushes!
