Nutty as a Fruit Cake

I can't take any credit for the cake as my mum made it. I did, however, take the photo. 
Mum knows I don't like icing so she always decorates my Christmas cake with nuts and dried fruit.

My oldest friends came over for our annual Christmas present exchange, coffee and cake. My clementine cake went down very well despite being the thickness of a digestive biscuit and Ali made a nutella Christmas tree which was delicious. My mum and dad joined us after church and we all had a lovely catch up. The teenagers had hysterics 'face swapping' adult faces with Bertie the Maltipoo. Shame I don't have extras, maybe Santa will bring me some.
