Half A Pig In The Post

It was something  of a surprise - a lot of meat does not arrive often in the post.  I think it's fine though - the packs are vacuum sealed and the whole point about bacon is that it is cured to last longer.

Really good bacon is not so easy to find here.  You can get packs of Danish Streaky Bacon but that's just finely sliced fat and bacon farts.  The German Dörrfleisch just doesn't cut it either - it's not bacon for heaven's sake.  And a weekend bacon roll is as fine a Frühstück as you (well, ok , I) can wish for.

I can recommend this - it's really tasty.  And it made a Blip for today, because outside is just grey from ground to sky.
