Christmas party

This evening was my work Christmas party which Martin was also invited to. It started off with a tour of Tour Charlemagne (this was taken from the top), it was very interesting though it involved a lot of stairs - you can see why it's not open to tours of over 19 people yet! The view was great and we could see our flat from the top.

We then had an aperitif in a nearby bar called 'High Five' - turns out my boss didn't know what a high five was but Martin helped demonstrate. He did very well with talking in French and everyone was very encouraging. It was a really fun evening even if we did nearly cause an international incident by refusing to eat foie gras!
