Chasing Chocolate

Ducked over to house 3 and 4 on a bit of a whim this afternoon. I wasn't expecting much activity from the bears being the end of lunch and right before 2pm recall, so I was pleasantly surprised to see five bears in the house 4 pool and several bears play-fighting in house 3. I was even more excited to see Choccy Bear (my nickname for him :), aka, Chocolate out and about. I've been trying to get a decent picture of him since I started at the centre!

Unfortunately I just missed him playing in the pool, but was able to calmly yet frantically stalk him around the outside of the enclosure as he aimlessly wandered around. Finally! A beautiful front on portrait of one of my favourite bears. Not sure why he's one of my faves - I guess I love that he's so different. He is the only bear at VBRC to have a lovely chocolate tinge to his coat - hence his very apt name!
