Corra the Birthday Dog!

Happy First Birthday to Corra dog! Surprised you made it this far you crazy puppy <3 Clearly birthday hats are evil! I grabbed a big ole' steak for her birthday "cake". It was buried and re-buried several times before being (mostly) eaten. I gave the rest to the fish ;)

Otherwise, we went back home for a bit to check on poor lonely Mezzo. She was doing just fine. She still has had zero accidents and hasn't thrown up once (both of these things used to be daily occurrences at my MIL's house), so it looks like she will be an easy cat to live with :) She was even eating her dry food, which made me feel much better, since we aren't giving her wet food every day while we are on vacation.

We also went on an adventure trying to find an ipod nano for my sister Jessie's birthday tomorrow. Apparently there was a shortage or something, and after trying several places, and calling like a dozen otherwise, the apple store (hurf) actually had one. Phew! We grabbed some Coldstone icecream too, yum! Ready for the Pirate Party tomorrow :D
