Snow for Play and Work

A zoomed-in view of our neighbors in their driveway--two of the kids with Hemmi, the German Shepherd (carried his usual plastic toy), and Tim shoveling in the background. We had six inches of snow between 3 a.m. and noon, then it let up. It will warm up tonight and begin rain tonight, probably through much of tomorrow, spoiling our bird club's annual Christmas count (part of a national event sponsored by the Audubon Society.).  I plan to go out nonetheless; Marylee is uncertain.
