Full of promise

Sunrise in Mintlaw this morning at the beginning of a mid-December day which so happened to be my 66th birthday. It's been a fine day just relaxing and not doing too much, followed by a rare evening out at a local hostelry with good friends. And I've been quite overwhelmed by the many birthday messages on social media. Here's to many more days like today!
