Christmas is coming!

It must be getting close - presents are appearing under the tree! I feel as if the holiday has really started today, as this was Roger's first day off, and he's off now until January 2nd. Then this afternoon Jen and Jason arrived from Columbus, together with their two cats. They're with us until Saturday evening. Philip joins us tomorrow, flying in from San Antonio, Texas in the afternoon. This afternoon was terrible weather-wise - we had freezing rain. I am indebted to my dear husband, who offered to do the grocery shopping for me, and saved me going out on the icy roads. We were concerned about Jen and Jason coming down, but fortunately they made it OK - the accidents and emergency vehicles they saw where on the other causeway. We're just hoping Philip is OK tomorrow with all the big storms there are out west - San Antonio will be OK, but it all depends where the planes are coming from!
