Garden Thieves

I've often wondered where the wood from my garden furniture goes to, after I've seen the wasps busy stripping it in the warmer weather.
Now I know!
I went into the loft for Winter clothes and Christmas lights and discovered this wasps nest, hanging from the roof joists. It's a magnificent structure but I've removed it, checking it was empty first!
Hopefully they'll find somewhere else to build next year.
