Ode to a Single Girl

I used to hide away the shame
Suffer in Silence in the Pain
Head held high for all to see
Nothing would be shown to get to Me

The truth of the matter was
it wasn't my wrong
Covering for them made it seem like
they did no wrong

The truth of the matter is
they caused the Pain

And with my head held high
they should hang theirs in Shame

I did not Lie, I did not cheat

But yet again a relationship found defeat,
By another a lying Scumbag Cheat!!

Too Many Friends are going through heartache at the moment from the mis-treatment of partners while they put on brave faces and hold their heads up high it never stops a rumour mill.
They hold dignity they don't tarnish names
I write the above to all my girls there is no shame xx
