Bag packed, no op

So, today was meant to be a day case at the Clementine Churchill Hospital.  Got there in plenty of time, changed into robe, elasticated stockings and disposable slippers and waited.  Then the news.  The regulator on the hospital oxygen supply had failed and blown two anaesthetic machines, so all ops were off.  As I am off to Saudi in February it means a delay until after I get back.  Ho Hum
