Big son flies of to Australia tomorrow for a well deserved holiday. Because he won’t be with us for Christmas Day we had a “fake” celebration today. Dinner was our traditional nut roast and all the trimmings feast, followed by Christmas pudding and custard. No brandy butter for me or the boys we were brought up proper - nothing but custard will do.
