Whitianga, North Island

We had a superb meal in the Orbit 360 degree restaurant of the Skytower last night with No 2 son.  The restaurant rotates very slowly (so you have to be careful where you put your handbag) and gives fantastic views of the city.

We went back near there to a coffee shop for breakfast with No 2 son and watched very stupid brave people jumping off the top of the sky tower (see extras).

We said our good byes and then drove to Whitianga on the Coromandel peninsula.  The most beautiful scenery.  

We popped into town for some shopping and we are now relaxing with a delicious white wine.
