Daddy

I need to scan some older photos of my father as a child into my computer. But! Here he is in 1955 at the helm of his sailboat. The boat was a Herreshoff S Boat, named "Dilemma." He was 44 years old in this photo! Born in late December 1910. Our #1 son is now 41. Yikes.

I am adding Daddy to my journal today in honor of what I hope might still be Ceridwen's FathersFriday.

Edit: A few more details. Daddy met Mummy in London during the War when she was working at American Army headquarters in London and he was there with the army. They married in 1944, and she came to the US in 1946. I was born that November...
