Chicken and Chips

We had dinner here tonight and their speciality is roast chicken and chips. You sit on stools around the bar and the customers tend to be local Cariocas. Divide the prices on the menu by 3 to get euros if you're interested.

Other than that, Citibank confirmed that our account wouldn't be re-instated. Pretty bad considering we've had accounts with them for 25 years in different cities and we were overdrawn here for the paltry sum of 50 euros and while we had our account with them here we paid 25 euros a month for the pleasure of a 'premium package' which we didn't ask for and which gave us zilch. We didn't even have bank cards. We used the account to pay our electricity and Internet by direct debit, nothing else. They won't be getting any more business from us that's for sure. Plan B is being considered.
