An Extra

Fancy being an extra in a film or television production? Well a friend of mine, recently retired, decided to supplement his income by signing on as an extra with a Glasgow casting agency.
 
 
Age is no barrier. Neither is lack of acting experience/ability. Extras are needed for crowd scenes. It could be anything from sitting in a pub for River City (Glaswegian soap opera) to taking part in a documentary on history of golf.

Meanwhile I persuaded a friend to be an ‘extra’ for free and stand alongside the Christmas tree in the Thistles shopping mall, Stirling for my blip today.
