Kensal Green Christmas lights

My neighbourhood is always awash with fairy lights and festive displays as it nears Christmas. Normally the brightly decorated homes belong to the older West Indian families, however lately the newer households have been taking part.

The lady who lives here comes from an eastern European country, although I wasn't able to establish which as it was late at night. The tree looks quite Germanic and I speculate that the net curtains are a family heirloom.

I thought it quite amusing that this decorative scene was also flanked by two wheelie bins (very Kensal Green).
