i do like to be beside the seaside

It's almost Christmas and I probably should be making mince pies or wrapping up presents or writing cards...but instead we spent the day beside the sea with the Dunscore Walking Group. On what has become a traditional seasonal walk (come rain, shine or sometimes snow), we walked the 5 miles from Sandyhills to Rockcliffe. On the way we stopped to make a campfire out of driftwood and cook some sausages.

The mince pies are not going to get made tomorrow, since i am spending the day singing.

It's a good thing I found time to go to Lidl yesterday...
