Radiant Morn

8.7C with rain in the morning. Clearing through the afternoon when there were bright spells and some blue sky and sunshine. Light NW/NNW breeze.

The fish shop didn't have Salmon quiche or fish cakes today, so I bought Salmon Scotch eggs and got some haddock fishcakes in the Coop to go with them.

After lunch and after the rain had stopped Maeve the Deerhound and I went for the repeat of our usual morning walking route across the road and round to the park and the harbour and back along through town. Suzy Bogguss (Something Up My Sleeve then Give Me Some Wheels) on the Clip. There were a few boats tied up at the old quay. MILA has sailed. We wandered round the old quay and were just in time to catch the arrival of Radiant Morn. I decided to go on out to the end of the park before coming back. More than ten fishing boats came in through the channel as we were walking along and back.

We came back along the street side of the park then crossed over and came home by the harbour then through town along Longrow.

Afternoon music ... Lorrie Morgan, To Get To You (Greatest Hits). JoDee Messina, Burn.
