Female Goosander

What a gloomy day .... there was almost no light at all when I was out this morning. I shouldn't need to drive with the car lights on in the middle of the day.

This morning I went to visit a friend who has been a patient in Gartnavel Hospital for some weeks. Parking at the hospital is always difficult so I paid to park in the local hotel carpark. There is a pond just beside the carpark .... plenty of gulls, ducks, swans and Goosanders .... one female and six male admirers. The drizzle wasn't bothering them but I wasn't too keen so only took a couple of photos.
