The West Front

After more report writing I decided to walk into Peterborough to buy some replacement cushion pads and some card. I thought it might make me feel festive, but the decorations were largely a bit disappointing. The Ferrero Rocher Christmas tree (see extra) doesn't get any more attractive with age.

But the light was beautiful, the low afternoon sun bathing the magnificent west front of the cathedral with gold, so I stopped to take a few pictures. As I was walking back towards the town centre I bumped into an old friend from home education days. It was so lovely to see her and catch up with all her family's news. Hopefull we might get together at some point over the Christmas break.
