The Innkeeper

No work today, hurrah!!  However, As TT was off to his work before the crack of dawn, I was up and about at the normal time.  I got BB to breakfast club, then went for a peaceful walk by the river.  Once home I sorted out our scout post and then went out and about to deliver some of it. It was so mild and the sun was out – I didn’t even need a coat.

After some housework and a hurried lunch I headed off to school for the Christmas Concert. First off the orchestra (including BB and his cello) played a few pieces, then we had Christmas carols played by the various recorder groups, then the show itself – The Magic Christmas Jigsaw.  It was fabulous.  The teachers and children have worked so hard over the past few weeks.  An added bonus was that I won a raffle prize of a mini hamper.

I had to rush off after the show to meet up with work colleagues in Edinburgh for our unofficial night out, and a very good night out it was too.  I had to sneak off for the last bus home.
