The quilt is done!
I've been sewing like a mad woman for the last few days trying to get this baby quilt finished before Saturday. The picture doesn't really show the details, but I've quilted small stars all over the border and the body of the quilt to hold it together. My daughter did all of the embroidery on the animals as well as everything else, including the fruit basket and the cat and the lovely sheep! My job was to quilt and put on the border, and bind the whole thing, but we originally planned to finish in January. The friend who's baby this is for is here this weekend from out of town, so we wanted to get it done for that. I'm happy to be done! We're already wondering who's going to have the next baby...
