Winter Light

These office buildings almost glow as the low sun illuminates them against the forest and the grey sky.
As you can see, still no snow. What you can't see is the glazed ice everywhere. Two days ago, early in the morning, despite a temperature of minus 6°C, it rained here for hours.  When that rain hit anything it turned instantly to hard ice.
I bet the local hospital was busy, but today the roads and most paths are gritted - though care is still required!
