The Final Ridge .....

...to the summit of Diablerets which you can see on the extreme right of the picture. This is our friend and mountain guide, Steve, such a great person to be with in the mountains. We now have a very coherent group of old friends who have kind of re-discovered each other as we have retired, one by one. Our busy working lives over, we can make choices to be together again. Now the children work and the oldies play. How fortunate we are, especially when we can go up to the Glacier mid week and have it to ourselves!

Thanks so much for yesterday's presents, I think I might just fall asleep soon. I taught my last yoga class of 2016 tonight, now the ski touring day is catching up on me and my eyelids are heavy.
