Early Morning Sunrise

I had trouble sleeping so I just gave up around 4:30 am, doodled around the house a little, then grabbed a camera and went for a walk. That weird looking  giant cactus is a cholla (choy'-a). An ocotillo (ak-a-tee'-yo) is in the background. The weather has been sensational.  Hard to believe it's mid-December!  The high today is going to be 78°/25°.

Ever hear of the group Pentatonix?  I first heard them a couple of weeks ago (I think it was on "The Voice").
