Released!

After 48 hours at home, due to the snow and ice, it was a treat to be able to drive to my classes at the Y and take care of some shopping afterward. The snow is still with us, but the streets were dry and clear, although I wouldn't want to venture forth on them at night or in early morning for fear of ice. It's still quite cold here -- 19 degrees F / -7 C when I parked the car downtown at 9:30 a.m. -- and not likely to get above freezing until Sunday. 

I took today's photo when I ventured out into the back yard/garden for a few minutes in late afternoon. The sun was very low, and I liked this angle on our bird feeders.
