Mum was lying in her old bed this morning with her bad back so I went in to say hello. (Her old bed is my new bed but because of her back she's back in there because it has a tv. Which I really missed! I like being able to wake up and watch tv in bed at home.) All of my things are in wardrobe now so as we chatted I pulled out a box full of wires to sort. Everyone has a drawer or box like this full of wires with forgotten purposes! In amongst said wires were my old fairy lights which had many old butterflies and my little fairy attached. All of the wires, lights and broken butterflies were thrown out but I carefully hand washed this little one and hung her out on the line to dry. Somethings are very precious no matter how old and dirty.

In other news I bought a wetsuit on my way to today's surf lesson.
