Post Card from Christchurch...

.. The BNZ Centre, Cashel Square has just opened.

After Physiotherapy this morning and I went into the city to have a look at the new building that has just opened. I parked in the new carparking building which great as you can get two hours of fee parking until Christmas.

I didn't walk to far and I found it really hard work walking.. but I just managed. They have a lot more work to do on the building. It will look really good when it is all finished. Here is a link all about the BNZ Centre, Cashel Square complex.

This afternoon I had my appointment with the eye specialist. I forgot they put drops in your eyes and you can't drive for a few hours. I still can't see very well. I am having so much trouble doing this blip..all the letters are a blur.

My eyes had changed so I have been put down on the public waiting list. It is going to cost well over $15,00 for each eye for my Specialist to do the operation. Which is more than I can afford. I was told there could be a six to nine months wait.. but because the public clinic is over loaded they have just started to sent people to have the surgery done in the private sector. So the wait may not be too long.

I am off to Akaora tomorrow after Acupuncture in the morning. I have to be back by Wednesday with my next appointment for the last of my injections.
