Dressed for the holiday

The blue jays and starlings, and the sparrows of course, have been dominating the crowd at the back yard buffet, but the cardinals have been a bit shy this fall. I was happy when this fellow made an appearance today. Hopefully we will see more cardinals, male and female, as the weather turns colder, which it is doing today!
