Constellation

When he became a deity, he discovered that his powers were vast but limited. He was unable to prevent famine or wars or poverty - any attempts that he made towards these goals invariably backfired - but he was able to make vast changes. One of his first acts after his ascension, whilst he still felt his old patriotic ties, was to move the stars in their orbits so that Orion was replaced with a reasonably accurate portrayal of Queen Victoria. The impressive part of this change was that it spanned all time. Even the earliest star maps showed the "new" constellation.

Whenever he felt like it, he would move the heavenly bodies around as though he were a General rearranging his troops, or a lady remodelling her drawing room. Once, when Gladstone annoyed him, he created a satirical constellation showing the Prime Minister, drunk, falling out of a cab. No-one thought it odd that a pattern of stars which had been present for millennia should strike such a topical note.
