Wide-Angle Wednesday: (Classy) Christmas Theme

Bobsblips has suggested a classy Christmas theme for this week's Widwed, hopefully with a connection to nature.

My offering was taken at Newcastle Airport today, while we were waiting for Son #1 and his lovely American wife to arrive from Detroit. It gave me the opportunity for a fisheye shot of the waiting area with the (reasonably) classy Christmas tree in the foreground. I'm afraid the only connection to nature is the tree itself...unless you reckon that air travel relies on the wonders of the laws of nature which allow a heavier-than-air plane to fly!

It's really lovely to have them to stay for nearly 2 weeks (albeit with a 4-day break from this Friday while they visit friends elsewhere in the UK). Son #2 & his girlfriend are due to arrive from Bath on Monday, and Son #3 (& his girlfriend) currently live in Newcastle anyway so we'll have all the family around at Christmas. We're very lucky, this doesn't often happen these days!
