Christmas Memories

My parents had eight children, spread over 23 years (gasp), yes unthinkable today. My mother ordered a Christmas stocking for each of us (starting in the mid 1930's through the late '50's), and all were created by the same seamstress. 

This simple red and white stocking with its own unique appliquéd ornaments, hanging with the other red and white stockings, filled with gifts and hanging on the mantle, brings back Christmas's past.
