Space Centre

We took advantage of a really good offer. Go Leicester was offering tickets for two adults and two children to a choice of places and a night in a hotel.

We went with some friends whose eldest child is our nephew. Are you confused yet?!?

On Monday we went to the Space Centre. To be honest if we had paid full price on the door we would have been a bit gutted as we thought it was quite over priced.

However as part of the offer it was fab. This is the children presenting a weather forecast. Funny.

The planetarium was totally amazing though. The lighting was really weird and we all dozed off during the show.

We also sent the children up into space in a launch pad. This involved me squeezing through a hatch holding Baby S and trying to sort out cabin pressure while my friend was singing 'one pound fish' through the radio communication.

We went for a meal at a pub that no longer served food......... But then a kindly manager from the slug and lettuce took pity on us and we were served to some lovely food by a fantastic waitress.

All in all a great day.
