Summerlee

We met H's friend E and her mummy and baby sister S this morning at Summerlee Heritage Park & Museum. I hadn't been before and been meaning to try it but was glad to wait until the schools were back and it was a bit quieter. We spent around an hour in the park before the babies needed fed, so we went to the cafe for lunch. It started raining whilst there so we spent some time inside wandering around, and H and E played with various lego, model railways etc. When the rain stopped, we headed back to the play park but only lasted around half an hour before the heavens opened. We got soaked running back up the hill. We decided to call it a day at the park but we were all having a lovely time, so decided to continue the play date at soft play. Needless to say H was exhausted when we returned home. O had good fun playing with S too, and he was practising sitting up today - his muscle control is really good!

H's Papa visited at night and stayed to watch the football, but for once, H was in bed asleep and missed him. I will have to tire her out more often!
