Sunset silhouettes

Finally got my Christmas cards and letters in the post this morning - several days later than I'd intended, but at least most of them are on their way! Once again, it was late afternoon before I got out for my walk. I almost turned back at one point as I was walking down the hill to the river, as it started to rain and my coat didn't have a hood, but fortunately, it didn't come to too much, so I kept on going. This was my favorite photograph from my walk, sunset through the branches, with a crow perched in front.
