A slice of Lesley's life

The future's bright

I sadly don't have time to tell you all the truly fascinating things I found out about the Big Yellow today. I did, on a couple of occasions, have to assure them that I wasn't an undercover reporter. But the whole thing was just so mesmerising I was awash with questions. The big finding I can quickly share is that they don't bother to heat a massive warehouse filled with metal boxes and so it is definitely too cold for moving in. And big jumpers will be worn when I return to visit my stuff and/or move more of our house there.

Now I must dash to the theatre to see the allegedly brilliantly bonkers Nice Fish with Mark Rylance and Louis Jenkins. I gather it is a sort of Waiting for Godot on ice.

I will of course though not let it go unrecorded that I beat Jackson in an hour long chess game. Though apparently it could have been much quicker if only I would work on my end game. It is also the first record of him calling me an idiot. I'm guessing not the last.
