Being Loaded

9.4C and dull with occasional smir. Wind E/ESE to 23 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

After lunch Maeve the Deerhound and I went for the repeat of our usual morning walking route across the road and round to the park and the harbour and back along through town.

Once Maeve was back home and settled I went for a walk. BBC Radio Scotland on the Clip. I went round past Aquilibrium and the harbour and along the little park by the ferry terminal and out Kilkerran road to the 1 mile milestone then I came back. It felt cold in the wind.

The new quay was a hive of activity today. Viking Gripfisk was tied up at the ferry linkspan and at the other side MILA was being loaded with wind turbine tower sections, with a further convoy of low loaders arriving as I was walking back along the park.
