Lost

I've been a bit lost for a few days.

We have been having one dark day after another. A number of neighbours have been switching on their Christmas lights which does help brighten things up.

I've started buying some Christmas cards and presents and anyone who knows me will realise this is at least 10 days earlier than usual :-)

I've managed to backup all my photos from iPernity just in case they really are going to closedown in 2017. There is talk of a buyer and some of the users talking about a Blipfoto crowdfunding kind of solution but it may not be possible iPernity has Founders and Shareholders who after 10 years seem to want to give up and closedown. Different to Blipfoto iPernity (apparently) have money in the bank but they have laid off staff over the years so it a skeleton staff with no obvious prospects of anything else. Shame its a great photographers site an not full of false flashy graphics like Flickr 500px etc.
