Betinselled
Our writing group held an event at the Library today. It was a very intimate little venue, but worked really well for our small audience. Good on the library staff for being up for it. Circumstances have conspired against me as far as making much of a contribution this year, but today inspired me to work a bit harder at my writing. We have such a diversity of talent in our group and we all seem to play off each other rather well. It's a fertile environment for the creative process.
We have some great performers too, which I'm most definitely not. Emma opened proceedings with a song she wrote for Christmas, a tongue in cheek tale of grown-up seasonal blues and magic called "Can I Still Believe in You?" It's well worth a listen here. Bit of an unusual angle for this shot of Emma, but I was sitting rather close!
