Pretty ribbons!

The combination of lights and ribbons in a wreath can be really special. This one caught my eye as I strolled, in yet more pea soup fog, this evening.

It has been my class Christmas Nativity dress rehearsal today for the rest of the school. All the children did really well and remembered all their lines perfectly - even the innkeeper who frequently tells me he's learnt 79 lines! The performances are tomorrow. :-)

The children have also written some letters to Father Christmas. It fits perfectly with the teaching of letter writing! My favourite line was "my Dad has bought my bike and sent it to you, so if you could just deliver it." Tonight I will become Father Christmas as I write an individual reply for each of them to take home on Friday :-)
