Nectarines in waiting

Every year, we have a heap of nectarines on our tree. Every year, the birds get to them before they ripen. We haven't tried a single fruit! 

This year, we've bought some netting to put over the tree in the hope that we might get to sample our fruits. I'm not overly hopeful; some of these birds are pretty insistent; but we'll give it a shot.

I had seven consecutive meetings at work today. I was ready to scream by the end of them!

Then my osteopath cracked my back, ribs and neck back to where they should be. I'm pretty sore right now, but hopefully tomorrow it'll feel better; I've been in a lot of pain today. Don't know why ... probably meetingintis!
