Magnolia

Not only do they have a lovely perfume, they also have a little Christmas tree in the middle.  I wish my garden was big enough to grow one of these majestic trees.

Spent the best part of the afternoon in a very productive Committee Meeting at the Belair NP.  It seems that we have the Federal Deputy Minister for the Environment visiting the Park on an official (no less) visit tomorrow.  The Federal member for Boothby (our electorate) is a Friend of Belair NP - and she is bringing him for a visit..  Our President has been asked to attend (not me, but I don't care about that, I'm no good at that sort of thing).

I think it's great that our pollies - both State and Federal - are on our side.
