A brief...

... moment of stillness in the chaotic world of Christmas shopping.

We both woke up a little bit groggy after the night before but we counted our blessings once we heard that Claire's cousin had lost her car keys.

They had driven all the way from Norwich and had stayed in a hotel a couple of miles away from Claire's house. In this situation what do you do? Well the AA didn't initially want to know but I think it was them who finally sorted them out with a £360 replacement...ouch.

During this time of panic and organising Claire and I headed into Birmingham with my mom and dad. Last week they had ordered two fancy watches and Claire who got them a massive 40% discount had to be there for the collection.

We then had a little snack in Selfridges before my folks went home with their new purchases.

Claire and I then continued around Birmingham intending to buy presents but monumentally failed, we bought one thing and it wasn't a present. We did have a yummy Crepe from the German market though.

A totally knackering but very enjoyable weekend over.
