Christmas Ships...

...in the moonlight, a very pleasant pairing. 2016 marks the 62nd  year of the Christmas Ships tradition. The privately owned vessels, skillfully decorated with lights, parade on the Columbia and Willamette rivers in Portland in two separate fleets in the weeks prior to Christmas. Yesterday they came downriver to the city of St Helens, and tonight they were on the Multnomah Channel in a combined fleet of 32 vessel to bring delight to the residents here. I am always excited to see them!
