Another Day in Paradise
A view of our house from the resort at the end....curved walls and our "toys" on the beach. We had kayaks, stand-up-paddleboards, boogie boards, etc.All were in use most of each day The sea was a bit rough this morning, so the kayaks were best fun.
Most everybody arrived by today and took to the beach and pool after breakfast. The group consists of 4 college professors, 3 elementary and special needs teachers, 1 writer, 1 helicopter nurse and mountain guide, 1 disabled adults case worker, 1 Intel exec, 1 landscape painter and 1 sculptor....plus 4 kids from 18mos. to 12 yrs. In addition to the big house, there are two casitas with 4 bdrms each so we all fit very comfortably.
Pix 2 & 3 show some of us on the patio and pool and beach.
Pic 3 shows our walk to the toney Punta Pescadero Paradise Resort. Yes, the beaches were a mix of deep sand, ground shale and coral; so the bottoms of our feet were ground to a pink glow every day. Look, Ma...no callouses!
Pic 5: We all chipped in at dinner. G & I grilled fish & peppers outside while the kitchen hummed. Lots of music and singing.
Pic 6: T takes an apres-dinner snooze in the hammock as the sun sets on another gorgeous day.
