Beech trees outside Munlochy, lit by sunlight... reflected sunlight... well, reflected off the Moon, so okay, Moonlight, with a few stars adding nothing of consequence.
Fooling about in the dark, trying to establish what level of exposure's required under moonlight, and also to find what's the best distance to set this lens's focus when at maximum aperture, for this kind of subject range (very much closer than anticipated). Some techie stuff for possible future personal reference: another three days until the next full Moon; illumination is supposed to be about 93% (after 22:00); but there was a thin veil of cloud that would've reduced it slightly.
